"Behold the marvel of modern logictics!"

Doc flipped a switch and pale greenish light flooded the lab. Transparent cube about 15 feet high floated in the middle supported by eight steel cables.

"It's look like someone has sliced out a piece of jungle and brought it here."

"It is because someone has! This is the genuine piece of unique ecosystem found in remote valley near India-Pakistan border. Field research in that area is somewhat... complicated... due to political reasons, you know. Our expedition already lost two hired local porters to casual bombardment. That's why University recalled the research party and financed transportation of the sample to more civilized region."

Doc grinned.

"And then I just had to press some levers to get it into _my_ lab. This will get us a juicy grant for sure!"

"Oh, that's where you spent the previous grant, Doc!"

"Well, the science sometimes calls for dear sacrifices. Speaking of sacrifices, Nancy, I would like you to take part in this new project in most immediate way."

"Huh?"

"Since your PhD research paper deals with symbiotic systems I think you will be interested in studying one of the most complicated of them from the inside. I mean literally."

* * *

Narrow steps of steel ladder under my bare feet were even more cold and uncomfortable than the ceramic tiles of lab floor. Airlock door slid aside with modest "PAH..." I entered as Doc's voice still boomed in my head:

"The colony of ants is what makes this ecosystem unique. The species didn't receive a formal name yet but I cherish a humble thought to name it after me. Generally, ants are known as quite symbiotic-prone creatures, incorporating in their colonies variety of other insects as well as some plants and fungi. But these particular ants really moved their symbiotic abilities to upper level. Local peasants claim they witnessed human-high anthills surrounded with ant-made moats of predator fish, snake nests and even wooden wheels with hamsters running inside! The latter, of course, is pure nonsense but still the ability to make symbiotic links with vertebrates is definitely worth researching. That's where you come into play."

The air inside was warm and slightly damp. The cube swung gently on its suspension as I made a couple of steps. The bumpy ground was covered with thick green moss almost ankle-high. Tall briar-like bushes hid corners of the cube, three gnarled trees propped up the ceiling. I stepped over some underbush and got to some sort of clearing in the middle. It looked much like a patch of sand. The moss here wasn't so thick and yellow-brown soil was pierced with hundreds of tiny holes. Despite Doc's reassurance that these ants are vegetarians I shuddered.

Suddenly loudspeaked near the airlock came to life:

"This colony is a young one. They haven't built an anthill yet. The flight experience and time shift probably was a stress for them so they're sleeping now. I think, we'll see some activity in a couple of hours. Now, Nancy, make yourself comfortable. Imagine that your present state and environment are native to you."

The loudspeaker started to play some unobtrusive elevator theme.

I could hardly call sitting nude in the middle of an ant colony "my native state". I picked myself a nice cozy mound and sat down putting my back against moss-covered tree trunk. Soon my head found quite comfy branch junction. Actually, I started to enjoy my position - now it was more like resting from numerous lab duties than embarassing and pretty scary research mission. I stretched my legs feeling the moss strands tickle inners of my thighs. Surely Doc will wake me up when show begins...

* * *

"Wake up, Nancy! Wake up!" the loudspeaker barked at full volume. I jerked and tried to sit upright - and failed. Something was holding me!

"Just don't rush. Steady, steady."

I opened my eyes but with my head tilted back I couldn't see much of surrounding area. Something pulled on my hair and held my head in place. And more - freezing with horror I realized that my body is crawling with ants. They were everywhere!

"Calm down, Nancy! Everything is fine, the situation is under control!"

For a few seconds I couldn't open my mouth fearing that some insect might get inside. At last scientific reasoning overcame primal fear. I imagined ants getting into my nose, ears and more private parts; and strangely that thought calmed me more than Doc's manifestations. I considered my mouth the safest opening of all and shouted:

"Doc, what's happening? Why can't I get up?"

"Well, I don't know exactly... You fell asleep, things got pretty boring and I wandered off to get a cup of coffee. I met some colleagues at the coffee shop and we chatted for a while. It took almost six hours, actually. Of course, I filmed all the process with two cameras, but it's 12 hours of recording, I couldn't look through the whole thing at once. I came back and found you... well... bound."

"How could _ants_ get a _human_ bound?"

"As I can see, it's not just ants..."

"What?!"

"You probably noticed that tall dense moss growing everywhere."

"So what?"

"So now the moss is growing rapidly in some strategic places. Around your ankles and wrists, below and above your knees and elbows, around your neck. Even around your waist, but there the circle is not complete yet."

Scientific reasoning raised its head again:

"How can moss growth be so... selective?"

"I don't know yet. I need to take samples and... I see some extra ant activity in those places. Let me zoom in... I think ants throw out some chemicals to stimulate moss growth. And I see other ants take separate strands of moss in their mandibles and... It's amazing! They weave the moss in some kind of thick rope!"

"What will we do now? Do you see them doing some... nasty things?"

"Well, I don't see anything nasty worth mentioning. They just tied you to a tree and spread your legs."

"What?!"

"Just kidding! You must have spread them yourself in your sleep. Yes, I see it on a playback."

"Well, I think it's ok then."

My initial fear subsided and gave place to other feelings. I couldn't see my tormentors but I felt their tiny feet all over my body. They ran over my forearms and shoulders, crawl across my belly, pinched little hairs on my thighs, dragged their feelers over sensitive skin under my tits and tickle soles of my bare feet with their...

OMG, I'm ticklish! I squirmed in my bonds trying to hold back giggles but could not help laughing.

"Doc!" I called between bursts of laugh. "Do something! They'll tickle me to death!"

"I'm sorry, Nancy. I'd gladly treat your skin with anaesthetic but it will ruin the whole experiment. You just have to be patient, your skin will soon accommodate to constant tickling and eventually will lose some sensitivity. Temporary, of course."

"Oh-ho-ho-ho... Ok, I'll try to relax."

That was a good thought. I relaxed my limbs, open my clenched fists and closed my eyes. I allowed waves of tickling to pass through me without a trace. Soon my skin became somewhat numb, but I didn't feel tickles anymore.

"Nancy! I think you should know..."

"What?"

"Just don't panic."

"Is this phrase supposed to calm me down? Anyway, what is it now?"

"You shouldn't try to open your eyes."

Of course I tried. That was painful. My eyelashes appeared to be glued together with some sticky substance.

"Ouch!"

"I warned you. They covered your eyes with natural cement they use to build their nests. It dries up pretty fast. They used it earlier to glue your hair to the tree trunk. I'm sorry, I should have told you."

"Why? Why did they blind me?"

"Obviously, it's a part of their symbiotic procedure. That's what we're researching, remember?"

"You think they're not finished?"

"Certainly not. They didn't receive anything useful from you yet. They're just preparing you... for something..."

"Ouch! Awww!"

"What? What's happening?"

"Something stung me in my... breast. Oh! Another one! Doc, what are they doing? Oww!"

"Several large ants gathered on your chest, each carrying fat white maggot. They seem to.. rub maggots agains your skin. Indeed, I see some little punctures all around your breasts..."

"Do they suck my blood?! You said they ate plants!"

"No, no they're not bloodthirsty. They don't feed on your body liquids. Quite contrary, I think, they inject you with some chemicals, maybe, of hormonal nature. Wait, I have to take a blood sample."

I heard a whirl of some mechanical device closing in. Then large suction cup landed on my forearm and needle stung.

"Ouch! Doc!"

"I'm sorry, Nancy. Do you think it's easy to operate that damn remote? It's a toy for kids, not for honorable scientists..."

Doc's muttering moved away. Stinging in my tits ceased. Instead I felt slight tingle in them like blood rushed in. Strange warmth came to my recently-tortured globes, like some big hands cupped them. My tits became somewhat swollen but for the first time since I discovered myself bound I felt good.

Sudden pinch at my labia took me back to reality. It came again on the other lip. And just in seconds I felt my cunt lips pulled apart by combined forces of dozens large ants.

"Doc!" I cried. "Are you there? Tell me what are they trying to do?"

No one answered, but very soon I found out the answer myself.

My clit was gently pulled up. Then I felt some side-to-side tugs. The largest ant I've ever... felt... was playing with my most private part like a puppy with slippers.

That thought made me wet in a split second. Here I am, full grown modern women, 22, intelligent and well-educated, sitting naked, bound tightly and... well... kind of raped by ants! My wetness attracted other insects. I felt they scrubbed my inner lips with their mandibles, and that, combined with unyielding pulling and twisting of my clit, really turned me on. My breath became fast and irregular, my chest heaved. I took quite a while for Doc to draw my attention:

"...a sight! Now that's what I call symbiosis! They're collecting your juices and carrying them down their holes. They must be using it to feed larvae or to fertilize their underground fungi farms. Nancy? Are you ok?"

"You're asking me... NOW! I'm... Oh... I'm... skyrocketing... Owww..."

"I thought you might be interested in blood analysis results."

"Can't it.. wait?"

"Well, they can do it forever, you know."

"For... ever... Oh my..."

"The chemical injected in your breasts is a mixture of hormones similar to human hormonal complex that regulates lactation. It's usually produced in female body at the end of pregnancy period and a year after."

"What... What does... Ohhhh..."

"It means they mean to milk you."

"Ahhh... Oh my fucking... I'm close..."

"I think that incredibly fat ant they're now carrying up your chest is their queen. Obviously, your milk is intended for her use."

I felt sharp tug at my left nipple. Something long and soft curled around my tit and started to lick.

I exploded. The strongest orgasm ever covered me with tidal wave and carried away to the stars.

As my senses slowly came back to me I heard Doc's voice:

"...think the symbiosis routine is almost finished. They can keep you bound, feed you and feed on your discharges for the time limited only by your life. There is one thing left completely unclear though. I don't think that abundance of ammonia from your urine and feces will make the colony happy and thriving. They must make some arrangements to divert them further away."

"It seems they're making them already..." I stated in a weak voice. "I just felt something slick was pushed inside my anus and now it makes its way up my rectum... It's getting bigger! Doc! Ow, I think it stopped."

I tried to wriggle my hips and felt the invader stiffen. I froze.

"Doc! What is it? Can you see what have they done to me?"

"Well, I can't see the thing pushed inside your anus. But I suppose, it shares origin with the thing they're pointing at your urethra right now."

"What? Arghhh! It hurts!"

"Yes, it's pretty thick for an earthworm. At least it looks like an earthworm. Very long earthworm, I must add. That's it - ants use tubular build of earthworms to conduct waste of their symbionts away from colony site. It's astounding! I must go bring... colleagues... faculty. Faculties of chemistry... and medicine... interested also, I think... living anthill..."

"Doc! Wait! I can't hear you well!"

"...because... sealed your ears. ...same substance... Don't need..."

"Oh, they start jerking me off again... Doc, don't leave me! You've got what you wanted! Now let me out!"

"...worry! ...you out... hours..."

Isn't the life of ecology researcher grand?
